Fall Semester 2026–2027

THESIS 

INFORMATION ON THE SUBMISSION PROCESS

 What students need to do:

1. Thesis projects and posters must be prepared according to the templates provided in the link.
2. For the prepared thesis, the “FR-1305-Faculty of Engineering, Department of Industrial Engineering Thesis Submission Form” available at kalite.yildiz.edu.tr must be filled out carefully.
3. The final project (.pdf), final presentation (.pdf), final poster (.pdf), and the FR-1305 Form (.pdf) signed by the faculty advisor must be uploaded to the form provided in the link. The deadline for uploading the files is January 2 at 11:59 PM.
4. Every student enrolled in END4000 Thesis must upload their thesis; for group theses, it is not sufficient for only one student to upload the file.
5. The defense committee for the Capstone Project is formed by the academic advisor, and information regarding the defense meeting is shared with the students. The student must attend the presentation at the specified date and time.
6. The final version of the thesis, presentation, and poster—including all revisions—must be uploaded to the system by completing the survey at the provided link. The faculty advisor will enter the grade after this step is completed.

Tasks for the academic advisor: 

1. Create a Defense Meeting and share it with the committee and students.
2. The Thesis Defense Meeting Evaluation Form FR-1306 (.pdf), signed at the end of the Thesis Defense Meeting, must be uploaded to the system by filling out the survey at the provided link no later than January 7, 2027, at 11:59 PMat the latest.
